Imports

Forward a confirmation instead of retyping it. Nothing is written until you accept it.

Imports is the part that saves the most tedious hour of planning. Every trip gets its own email address; forward a booking to it and the details come back as reviewable proposals. Routes come in the same way, from GPX or a spreadsheet.

Three ways in

Forward the email, paste the text, or upload the PDF. All three land in the same review queue, so it makes no difference which is convenient at the time.

It is not a per-provider integration β€” it reads the text of the confirmation, which means unusual operators generally work too. Tested against real ScotRail and Booking.com confirmations.

  • Email to your trip's own address.
  • Paste the text of a confirmation.
  • Upload a PDF.
  • Routes from GPX, CSV or XLSX.

A review queue, not an auto-writer

Every extracted field is a separate proposal showing the current value and the suggested one. You accept the good ones and reject the rest. Nothing reaches your trip without that step.

This is the design decision that makes automated extraction safe to use at all. A confident wrong answer is the failure mode of every system like this, and the only real defence is that a human sees it first.

  • Field-by-field, not all-or-nothing.
  • Shows current versus proposed so you can judge.
  • Locked fields can never be overwritten, only flagged as conflicting.
  • Rejections are discarded and leave no trace on the trip.

Good to know

  • Extraction quality depends on the confirmation. Sparse or unusual formats produce fewer proposals rather than wrong ones, but you should still read them.
  • One multi-day GPX is split by track segment; a single-segment file divides distance evenly rather than finding real stage boundaries.
  • Spreadsheet import expects one row per day with recognisable column names.
